Cox Rocks Legs 6

Leg 6 is where the men are sorted from the boys (and women from girls), so it was of no great surprise that 83 rolled up last Tuesday for the Black Belt Poker League in search of some much-needed momentum as the home straight nears.

Within the field lay several former Champions, all eager to dispel any flash-in-the-pan accusations; their fortunes were mixed: whilst russellhansen floundered in 67th, RedKiteBlackBelt and TeeDeeEye1 enjoyed aboved-average performances in 35th and 26th respectively, whilst the ever-consistent myteamouse and JHobbit1 both made the money.

Soaking up the most spondoolies was Matthew The8Spades Cox, who saw $114.17 hit his cyber account after disposing of RiverSiren heads-up. Just one spot behind, however, was last week's winner Mark DConTour1 Cartwright, who cushioned his wallet with a further $58.10.

1st The8ofSpades -- $114.17
2nd RiverSiren -- $76.77
3rd DConTour1 -- $58.10
4th Speighty84 -- $39.42
5th griffyid7777 -- $29.05

9th mikeymixitup -- $12.45
10th ourkidsid -- $10.37
11th JosseWales -- $10.37
12th myteamouse -- $10.37

Sean 10Royals Lassman's 47th place finish means he's slipped on a temporary banana skin and allowed liquidpoker101 to take over throne-sitting duties; he drops into second with sandy1611 creeping up behind in third.

1st liquidpoker101 -- 447 points
2nd 10Royals -- 436 points
3rd sandy1611 -- 403 points
