Sievwright Is the Mane Man in Leg 7

Seven heaven arrived on our doorstep last Tuesday as the penultimate leg of the latest Black Belt Poker League brought us yet another night of poker fun and frolics.

On this occasion, it was a loyal Orange Belt who reigned supreme, as Black Belt Poker stalwart Malcom lionrampant27 Sievwright tangoed his way to victory with a roaring performance to snap up the lion's share of the $395 prize pool.

Okay. No more puns.

79 dipped into their pockets for a five-dollar bill, including several cashers from the recent East End Live: Mark Cursonator Curson, Carey CareybearBBP Hollick and finalist Jon RykanShadow White to name but three. And reigning Champion Adam JHobbit1 Saunders - who was a lucky recipient of one of Channing's Orange Ticket spot prizes - was once again prominent, supplementing his eighth place finish last week with yet another final table appearance this time around.

1st  lionrampant27 -- $118.52

9th  cheekyweeguy -- $13.82

The result didn't shake up the top spots with the leading trio all finishing in the top 25. Although David liquidpoker101 Manders has all but sealed his Samurai seat, second place is still vulnerable with BoatDrink joining sandy1611 on 472 points, and the likes of ourkidsid and former Champion myteamouse just a few points behind.

The following night, a hefty 33 took a stab at the Deepstack Mulligan, Dave deadlydaveLDN Eames purchasing a token from the Black Belt Poker Store and turning it into a tasty $183.16. En route, he defeated a tough lineup, including Black Belt and 2008 Irish Open Champion Neil Channing who finished second.

This week's Orange Belt Freeroll proved incredible value once again with just 44 players fighting over a Samurai seat worth $250+25. After the dust had settled and the smoke cleared, it was Chris SchnauzerSoze04 Cope who struck gold. He'll now compete for a guaranteed $10,000 prize pool on Thursday, May 3.
