Purple Belt Receives a Makeover

Black Belt Poker are delighted to announce that starting today there will be some major changes to Purple Belt.

Purple Belt is the fourth step on the Belt-Up Rewards System, requiring 5,000 Belt Points to reach, and 2,500 to maintain.

However, we've decided to turn those figures on their heads and make Purple Belt a lot more accessible to recreational players.

From May onwards, Purple Belt will now cost just 1,500 Belt Points to achieve, and the same figure to maintain, making it over three times easier to reach.

Having surveyed a number of players, we've also decided to modify the rewards on offer, making them more attractive than ever before.

As a Purple Belt, you will now be treated to two exclusive freerolls a month, on top of the four Orange Belt Freerolls. This means you'll now get to play six freerolls each and every single month.

Purple Belt Freerolls will take place every other Thursday at 19:30, with the inaugural event being Going Live on May 09, in which we'll be giving away not one, but two free seats into the upcoming East End Live II.

Check out our promotions page for the full schedule.

This month will also witness the introduction of Piece of the Pie, a brand new promotion in which we give you free shares of a Black Belt Poker pro in the $200,000 GTD ($200+15).

Every week we'll be chopping up 10 percent of any winnings equally between all Purple Belts, meaning you could receive money directly into your account just by sitting on the rail.

With our Monkey Magic Freeroll in June and the increased rate of points (Purples receive 5x for every $ raked), it's never been a better time to be Purple Belt and we hope you'll make the jump and take advantage of all the value on offer.
