Blondie Burns Wood

Dave Colclough scoops the pot of the day so far - and is now at the giddy heights of 80k, and our new chip leader - no chance for anyone to get his Bounty (at least in one go) at the moment!

It turns out that the (what's the opposite of beneficiary? Donor? Maleficiary?) guy who lost the huge pot was Ross Wood, who'd built up his stack a little and got involved for his tournament life with AQ thusly:

Wood was one of several players who made it to a Q-rag-rag two-diamond flop, and proceeded to raise when Colclough bet out. Colclough called and they saw a second Queen emerge on the turn. Now Check to Wood, who bet, once again called. An offsuit King on the river, and Colclough, according to Wood, now shipped it all in for around 20k+ (there being about half that in the pot...). He got the call - and his K-Q had hit a good river indeed.

Joining the really very cheery-sounding Mr. Wood on the rail, in various levels of cheer, no doubt:
