Praz Bansi, hitsquad member, GUKPT winner, all-round feared tournament player, is out, falling at the hands of Jake Cody, new kid on the EPT winner's podium (Deauville, January). At this very moment, Praz is presenting Mr. Cody with a black belt, and they're having their photo taken with it... I hope they're treating it with the respect it deserves.
The pace of elimination in this level (400/800 with a 100 ante) is really very fast indeed. So fast that these players below too only get the briefest of photographic mentions before their chips are forgotten, merged into the stacks which are growing ever larger. Full chip counts coming after this 45 minute dinner break - but for now, farewell to Gerry Bishop (pictured below), India Storrar, James Mitchell, Andrew Miles, Catherine O'Brien, Paul Parker, and about 15 more....
