Luke's Quick-Marsh, Hoivold Felted

Recent winner of the Dusk Til Dawn Anniversary Cup and high stakes online player Luke Marsh is probably the earliest mover and/or shaker. On a Jh-Td-9c-6d-Ac board, he'd raised his opponent's 1,200 turn bet to 3,700 before moving in on the river for about 7,000 or so after a check. No call came, and Marsh is most likely the first player over 20,000 in chips.

Former EPT winner Andreas Hoivold is down to just 1,200 chips after some fireworks on a Qs-3d-9c flop. The original raiser bet 500, Hoivold raised to 1,700 before the third player in the hand made it 4,200. The first player folded while Hoivold thought for a moment asking, "You've got a flush draw?" He made the call before it all went in on the 4s turn, Hoivold flipping 9s-9d for 2nd set but having run into the Qc-Qd of his opponent. An 8d river caused the Norwegian to sink back into his seat with a shrug of the shoulders, exasperated that such a cooler could occur so early.
