Leaderwatch

These guys, starting the day in second and third chip positions, started the day on the same table, but it was quickly broken sending their big stacks across the room. In case we haven't featured their faces to go with the names and numbers, I hereby introduce Simon Eastwood (top - now on 160,000) and Alexander Millar (120k).

Over on table Nine, Stefan Hansen bit off more than he could chew re-raising button raiser David Johnson, who'd just been moved to the table. Hansen upped the button raise to 11,800 from the small blind after a slow, careful think, but there was nothing slow about the way Johnson immediately shoved afterwards. Another 16,800 back at the would-be restealer. He thought for a very long time now, looking less than delighted with this development, rubbing his forehead and eventually saying, "You just sat down and picked up a monster?" before passing.

Also passing to all-in shoves recently - Mark McCluskey, who raised on the button to 4k, but passed when Vicky Coren moved in for 17,600.

Not passing recently was Tim Pennington, who got it all in on a Kh-4s-9h board with the Ah-3h nut flush draw, vs. Ivan Lehoczky's Kc-9c two pair. He hit straight away on the turn, felting Lehoczky and gaining a not-so-short stack.
