Silke Worms His Way To The Top: Edward Is Truly Rogered

Disaster for Edward Rogers, in the biggest pot of the tournament he called all-in holding Q-Q on a T-J-5-8-9 board but the Irishman, Martin Silke flipped over K-Q for the absolute nuts and eliminated Rogers, winning a 400k+ pot and becoming chip leader.

Donal Norton raises to 8,500 from early position, Samuel Oatley flat-calls next to him and then Sunny Chattha makes it 29,800 from the big blind. Donal Norton flat-calls this now after some serious thought, before Oatley thinks for ages and has the clock put on him. After about 15 seconds of 'clock time' Oatley now moves all-in for an additional 84,400 and the decision is over to Sunny Chattha. The Walsall GUKPT winner takes two minutes before moving all-in and Donal Norton sighs and says, "Well, I think if you push, then you have to have it," before folding Queens face up. Sunny shows 4c-4s and Oatley shows Ah-Kc with the board coming out 6s-Ac-5d-8h-2s and Oatley is now on 270k with Sunny down to 70k.
