Nankoosing Takes First Victory

Today wasn't Jeff Duvall's day - he was just bounced from the Heads Up Championship by Vach Nankoosing whose Terminator-Cop expressionless unreadability finally cracked into a smile as he got Duvall's final 5k in on a flop of Kc-9h-Kh with a firmly-ahead Ks-Js to Duvall's Ad-Jd. The turn and river came harmlessly 5s-Ac and a goodnatured handshake later and we're down to just three tables.
Earlier, Vach admits, "I did have some hands against him," and when further pressed, further admits, "OK he did have Kings. I had 5-2. I limped on the button, he raised another 200, I called. The flop came 5-J-x, he bet, I called. The turn brought a Deuce. That's two pair. He bet, I call. The river bricked, he bet big...I could have put him all in but I just flat called. He was down to like 6k early."

A final thought on the personable, busted Duvall - are these the shoes you would have expected on the GUKPT Grand Final Runner Up tournament veteran?
