Adam Vinson seemed to play at the beginning of the second level as if he were on that first Fast-forward setting on a DVD player - you know, almost normal speed, but not quite. A case in point was one of the multiway pots preflop which saw his tournament life eventually (briefly) under threat...
Half the table saw the flop of 4d-7c-7h for 300, and first to act Vinson quickly bet out 1,200. This saw off everyone except Arkady Kielman who called him in position. The turn brought the 5d and an nonchalant bet flicked two-fingered into the middle of 2,500. Kielman made the call.
The river was the 3s and Vinson moved all-in, this time with the briefest of dwells before his opponent passed.
