Tom 'hatthehole' Middleton is the latest casualty of today's proceedings. He moved all but one 100 grey chip into the centre and was called by the big blind. This lead though to the slight faff of having to push the last chip in after a 6-3-5 flop, where Middleton's Kh-Qh was no good against the big blind's Ad-Td after the board bricked out.
Soon after John O'Shea (not the Man Utd defender) moved in over a Scandinavian cut-off raise with Ad-2s, eventually getting a call from Ks-3s which couldn't hit on the Jd-Td-2c-8s-7s board, doubling the Irishman all-in.
Sam Trickett has been suffering the ups and downs in quick succession. First he doubled Jeff Kimber up with Kings vs Qc-Tc after Kimber made what he later confessed was 'a dodgy preflop call'. But he managed to flop a flush to double through
Trickett was soon in another big pot holding 8d 6d on a 7h 5d 3d board but was almost a 2/1 dog since Jan Bjoersland was holding Ad Kd but Trickett rivered the 6h to eliminate his Norwegian opponent.
