Mild-mannered blogger Marc Convey makes a button raise with Neil Channing calling in the big blind where they see a 9-high flop, after Channing checks, Convey makes a continuation bet which Channing calls and the latter leads on the 8 turn. Convey makes the call and the river another 9 where Channing bets 4,000 with Convey calling with J-9 only to see that Channing has made the boat holding 9-8. Marc Convey is down to just 2,000 chips or so.
Elsewhere Daniel Rudd has tripled up holding Kings on Q-T-7 board against the A-Q of John O'Shea and the Q-J of another player. He's up to 27k saying, "I've been waiting for something like that all day!"
Tom Rutter c/raises a 1,000 bet to 2,700 on a 6c-8c-Td board before both check the 8h turn. On the Qh river, Tom moves all-in and gets a very quick fold from his opponent.
