Spencer Lawrence Takes First Bite of Flushy

Pictured above is Spencer Lawrence, who just picked up a tasty early pot which was contested, as you may expect many to be, by James Dempsey and Ian Frazer. They checked to Lawrence on a Kc-8c-6c flop (the pot already 1,375 somehow after some preflop action - a re-raise, I think, from button Lawrence involved) and he bet 625. Frazer, then Dempsey, made the call.

The turn brought a fourth club, the Tc, and all three players checked. The river was the Ah. Frazer checked once again, but Flushy bet 2,200. This was well nigh immediately called by Lawrence, while Frazer muttered something like "I guess I have the third nuts," and passed. Flushy pretty much admitted defeat straight away while Lawrence's Qc-Th took down the chips. "You are a mug," added Ian, helpfully.

Dempsey, unfazed by Frazer, gets an inquisitive stare from neighbour Neil McCulloch.
