It's Richard Gryko and Marcus Otto! Nothing eye-catching happened in the very early levels, while the others were busy playing out monster pots and ending it all in time for dinner before the PLO/8 event tonight. "I admit it's boring," said Gryko in the break (I paraphrase for brevity).
It appears the dark horse German player Otto is a bit of a mystery - even the Encyclopedic Channing couldn't provide much on him. "Good news," Richard told Woody in the break, "It appears he plays heads up online professionally."
The blinds are still only 100/200 - with 15,000 roughly still apiece, there's a good chance it will take these two deliberate players quite some time to wear each other down.
