Gryko Gains Ground Gradually

Try saying that five times fast when tipsy. In the last 15 minutes, Richard Gryko's stack has plumped out to around 10k - not without itself being risked in its entirety at several points. At least twice preflop he's re-raised Marcus Otto all in preflop, picking up around 600 each time. Just now he extracted over 1,000 after Otto bet on a 2-5-T rainbow board only to find Gryko all in yet again. This time he considered it, but eventually passed.

"Mick McCool would've called," opines Woody.
_______________________________________Fast Forward 15 mins

At least two good-sized pots for Marcus Otto see him firmly update his Chip Leader Status (anyone else feel they're being subliminally influenced by Facebook, ever, btw?). But every time he goes over the 23k mark or thereabouts, a few thousand are always clawed back. Just now I saw Otto betting 1k (a second time, I'll hazard) with the board on the turn reading Kc-4c-2s-2d. Gryko called. The river brought the 7d - Gryko checked and Otto did too - showing pocket Tens and muttering, "Sick," when he saw the Kh-8s in Gryko's hand. We predicted at least two hours from the first break before anything even approaching terminal would occur in this match, and despite all that earlier drama, it looks like we were right.
